last week this half term

Can you believe we have done a whole half term already? These eight weeks have flown by.

This week our spelling test will be on Wednesday.

desperate, determined, develop, dictionary, disastrous

Don't forget we finish on Thursday so maths homework needs to be back then.

I hope you've all got your half term homework for today, I'm looking forward to seeing what has been completed. We already have some exciting models.

See you soon

Don't forget its parents evening this week.

I hope you all have your parents evening slips in. It would be great to see everyone on Thursday night.

This weeks spellings are: convenience, criticise, correspond, curiosity, definite

Can we please encourage children to be reading at home. We seem to be seeing less children with reading books every week. They don't need to read the whole book, but if a parent/guardian signs to say they have read a few pages that would be great.

Enjoy what is left of the weekend in the miserable weather today.

See you tomorrow.

Hi,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. It was certainly an interesting morning at school on Saturday for the community day.

Next week is assessment week which means it's time to show off what we have learnt so far this year! Bring your brains with you :)

Next weeks spellings are: community, competition, conscience, conscious, controversy

See you all Monday - don't forget your wellies for forest school!
